Mom's Raspberry Pretzel Salad





Crust:
1/2 bag broken pretzels or about 2-3 cups
1 cube melted butter
1/2 c sugar

Middle:
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1/2 small tub cool whip

Top:
large jello Raspberry flavor mix
2 cups boiling water
3 cups raspberries


Directions:
Combine the ingredients for the crust and bake at 350 for 7 minutes.  Let cool.

Mix the middle ingredients together and layer on the crust.  Try making the cream cheese mixture to make a seal so that the raspberry jello doesn't go down to the pretzels .

Boil the water then mix the water and jello together.  Once dissolved,  add the raspberries. Place in the fridge and add to the top of the cream cheese mixture once jello is mostly set. Place the whole thing in the fridge to completely set.
