A Simple & Colorful Chinese New Year Celebration

Remember my country night idea I want to pursue?  The first one I did was an Italian Night click here for more info.  Well, last month (February) was Chinese night except we did it during the New Year, so it was dinner + a little celebration.





The menu included steamed dumplings as well as rice and a yummy sweet and sour breaded chicken.  You can get the recipe here.

The party favors were red envelopes with chocolate coins.  In China they give red envelopes with actual money inside, so this was a little twist on that.
